Not many cricketers begin their journey in local leagues across the United States before becoming one of the most feared fast bowlers on the global T20 circuit. Ali Khan's rise has been anything but conventional. Armed with genuine pace, pinpoint yorkers and an uncompromising attitude, the USA international has earned a reputation as a specialist capable of changing games with the ball in any phase of an innings.

Born in Attock, Pakistan, Ali moved to the United States as a teenager, where his talent was first spotted at an ICC Americas trial in 2015. His raw pace immediately caught the attention of former West Indies fast-bowling great Courtney Walsh, opening the door to professional cricket and the beginning of a remarkable franchise career.

Ali announced himself on the global stage by dismissing Kumar Sangakkara with the very first ball of his Caribbean Premier League career. More than 50 wickets later, he has established himself as one of the competition's most consistent overseas fast bowlers. Since then, he has become one of the most experienced fast bowlers on the global T20 circuit, featuring in the Caribbean Premier League, Major League Cricket, International League T20 and Pakistan Super League. He also created history by becoming the first American cricketer to earn a contract in the IPL.
