ARYAN DUTT

A tall, imposing off-spinner who has quietly become one of the Netherlands' most reliable bowling options, Aryan Dutt has built his reputation around control, variation and an ability to frustrate batters into mistakes. The 23-year-old came through the Voorburg Cricket Club system and made his international debut as a teenager in 2021, quickly earning a place in the Dutch set-up with his disciplined right-arm off-spin.

Dutt's ability to deliver against high-quality opposition was underlined during the Netherlands' 2023 World Cup campaign, where he dismissed some of the game's leading batters, including Babar Azam. His defining international performance came against Namibia in February 2024, when he returned career-best ODI figures of 6/34 – the best bowling figures ever recorded by a Netherlands bowler in ODI cricket.

Though primarily valued for his bowling, Dutt has also developed into a useful lower-order batter, possessing the power to clear the ropes when required. His familiarity with Dutch conditions, combined with his experience of playing against some of the world's strongest sides, makes him a particularly valuable addition to the ETPL. For Amsterdam Flames, Dutt's ability to control the middle overs and create breakthroughs without conceding heavily could prove a major asset in the inaugural season.
