Chris Jordan's reputation has been built on pressure. Born in Barbados on 4 October 1988 before moving to England on a cricket scholarship, Jordan's breakthrough came after joining Sussex in 2013. After a stellar season in all formats, where he picked 59 wickets he was soon called up to England, and in a matter of months, he became one of the most reliable white-ball bowlers in the nation. Since then, his ability to remain composed under pressure has established him as a mainstay in England's T20 team, and he played a crucial part in their successful 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup campaign.

Jordan has one of the best records of any England fast bowler in this format. As of mid-2026, he has claimed well over 400 T20 wickets, including more than 100 T20I wickets, making him one of England's leading wicket-takers in the format. In addition to being England's top non-wicketkeeping catcher in T20 Internationals thanks to his exceptional athleticism, he became the first bowler from England to achieve a T20I hat-trick, returning impressive figures of 4 for 10 against the USA at the 2024 T20 World Cup.
