JORDAN NEILL

A product of Cape Town's cricketing system who has gone on to make his mark in Ireland, Jordan Neill is one of the youngest players to break into the country's senior set-up. The 20-year-old right-handed all-rounder represented Ireland at the 2024 Under-19 World Cup before progressing into domestic cricket with Munster Reds and Northern Knights. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball has seen him emerge as an exciting prospect for Irish cricket.

Neill's development has been particularly notable for the way his game has evolved. Originally a batter who bowled off-spin, he transitioned into medium-fast seam bowling, adding another dimension to his skill-set. He made his senior ODI debut against the West Indies in May 2025 before earning his Test debut later that year against Bangladesh, where he showed his batting potential with scores of 49 and 30 in his first Test match.

Still at the beginning of his international career, Neill offers Amsterdam Flames a player with plenty of room to develop while already possessing experience at the highest level. His versatility gives the side flexibility across the game, whether providing valuable runs in the lower order or offering a seam-bowling option when required. With his all-round skill-set and a pathway that has already taken him from Ireland's Under-19 side to the senior international team, Neill could be one of the Flames' most intriguing young assets in the inaugural ETPL season.
