One of the Netherlands' most promising young seamers, 25-year-old Kyle Klein has rapidly developed into a reliable wicket-taking option across formats. The right-arm medium bowler made his international debut in 2024 and quickly established himself as a key part of the Dutch attack, particularly through his ability to generate movement and maintain disciplined lines with the new ball.

Klein's standout performance came against Oman in November 2024, when he returned remarkable T20I figures of 4/16 – still his best figures in the format. He has also demonstrated his ability to make an impact in the longer white-ball format, recording ODI best figures of 4/32 against the USA. His record across international cricket reflects a bowler who can consistently create breakthroughs without sacrificing control.

Still only 25, Klein brings both youth and growing international experience to the ETPL. Having developed his cricket in the Netherlands after moving from South Africa, his familiarity with Dutch conditions could prove particularly valuable. With the ability to strike early and remain effective throughout an innings, Klein could emerge as one of the Flames' most important bowling assets in the inaugural ETPL season.
