LORCAN TUCKER

Entrusted with leading Ireland's T20 side at just 29, Lorcan Tucker represents the next generation of Irish cricket. Tucker has developed from one of Ireland's most promising young players into one of their most significant white-ball players, mixing aggressive shots with composed decision-making behind the wickets and as captain. He is a dynamic wicketkeeper-batter who can alter the pace of an innings.

After making his debut for Ireland in 2016, Tucker gradually became the team's preferred wicketkeeper in all formats before becoming one of the most reliable T20 hitters. During the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, he made his debut on the international scene as Ireland's top run scorer. His unbeaten 71 against Australia and match-winning contributions against the West Indies and England showcased his ability to deliver against the world's strongest bowling attacks on the biggest occasions.

Tucker has been given opportunities throughout the franchise circuit because of his rising stature. He has continued to play consistently for Ireland while making appearances for MI Emirates in the International League T20 and Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League. He has become one of Ireland's most successful white-ball hitters as of mid-2026, having amassed over 1,700 T20 International runs.
