MITCHELL MARSH (RULED OUT OF SEASON 1)

Mitchell Marsh is the captain of the Amsterdam Flames and has evolved into one of the most complete T20 cricketers in the world. Born in Perth, Western Australia, on 20 October 1991, he is a right-handed top-order batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler who has represented Australia across all formats for over a decade.

The current captain of the Australian T20 side, Marsh was the Player of the Match in the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup final, where his unbeaten 77 off 50 balls helped Australia claim their maiden title in the format.

In the 2025 edition of the Indian domestic T20 league, playing for Lucknow , Marsh scored 627 runs in 13 matches. A few months later, he hammered an unbeaten 103 off 52 balls against New Zealand in an international T20 series, becoming Australia's joint-leading century-maker in T20Is. He has retired from first-class cricket to focus entirely on white-ball formats.

An imposing figure at the crease and a natural leader in the dressing room, Marsh could well be the Flames' talisman.
