ROSS ADAIR

A batter whose power has quickly become one of Ireland's most eye-catching assets, Ross Adair has carved out a reputation as an aggressive top-order option capable of taking an attack apart in the opening overs. The right-hander made his T20I debut in 2023 after initially balancing cricket with a brief stint in rugby, and his explosive approach has since made him a regular feature of Ireland's white-ball set-up. He has a T20 career strike rate of over 150.

Adair's defining international moment came against South Africa in September 2024, when he smashed a maiden T20I century in just 58 balls. His 100 included five fours and nine sixes and helped Ireland record their first-ever men's T20I victory over South Africa, while his 137-run opening partnership with Paul Stirling was Ireland's second-highest in the format.
