TIM DAVID

Tim David is perhaps the most destructive finisher in the Amsterdam Flames squad and one of the most feared T20 batters on the planet. Born on 16 March 1996 in Singapore and raised in Perth, Western Australia, the 6'5" right-hander has built one of the most remarkable careers in modern T20 cricket through pure power-hitting prowess in franchise leagues across the world.

David first represented Singapore in the 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier before switching his international allegiance to Australia in 2022, making his debut against India with a 54 off 27 balls.  

His highest T20 international score is an unbeaten 102 off just 37 balls, struck against the West Indies in June 2025, a century that ranks among the fastest in the history of T20 international cricket.

He made history in 2022 as the first player from Singapore to appear in the Indian domestic T20 league, and across 50 appearances in that competition has scored 846 runs at a career strike rate of 173.36. In the 2025 edition he was a major contributor to the Bengaluru franchise's maiden title win. He also won the Australian domestic T20 league title with his Tasmanian franchise side earlier that same year.

With over 100 sixes in T20 international cricket and a proven ability to hit any bowler to any part of any ground, David is the Flames' big-hitting finisher -- a player who can make totals vanish and targets look small.
