TOM CURRAN

Tom Curran is a battle-hardened seam-bowling all-rounder who has spent nearly a decade establishing himself as one of the most reliable death bowlers in the global franchise circuit. Born on 12 March 1995 in Cape Town, South Africa, and raised in England, the right-arm fast-medium bowler plays for Surrey in English county cricket and carries an international pedigree built on 30 T20I appearances for England, in which he claimed his best figures of 4 for 36.

Curran made his T20I debut for England in June 2017 and was part of the England squad at the 2019 ODI World Cup, building a reputation as a fierce competitor with the ability to swing the ball late and contribute usefully in the lower order. He is the older brother of Sam Curran, the Player of the Tournament at the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, and the Curran family cricketing legacy -- rooted in their grandfather Kevin and father Kevin -- is woven into the fabric of the game across three continents.

On the franchise circuit, Curran has accumulated one of the more eclectic CVs in modern T20 cricket. He has represented franchises in India's domestic T20 league with a Kolkata-based side, a Rajasthan-based side and a Delhi-based side, a Sydney-based side in Australia's domestic T20 competition across multiple seasons, an English T20 competition side, franchises in UAE and Pakistan-based leagues, a Melbourne-based side in Australia's domestic T20 competition for 2024/25 and 2025/26, and most recently a Quetta-based franchise in the Pakistan domestic T20 competition for 2026.
